The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games (2012) was released early this year (March) and was no doubt the most anticipated film in a long time.

It is an adaptation to the 2008 novel of the same title by Suzanne Collins.

Many people may tell you the movie is about a whole bunch of teens killing each other until one is left standing.

That is true, but not at all the main plot of the film. You see, it focuses on a teen girl names Katniss Everdeen from the least wealthy district, District 12. Her younger, weak sister, Prim is chosen to fight but takes her place. She falls in love with another tribute named Peeta. Meanwhile, a friend at home, Gale, loves her.

I'm not going to get into it and have a spoiler alert for you who have yet to see it.

However, I will say, I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
